On Thursday the 10th February, the team were called out by Northamptonshire Police to assist in the search for a vulnerable missing person.
The team quickly deployed to the Kettering area of the county and set up the Incident Control Unit. Numerous search areas were mapped out and multiple teams including foot search, dog team and drone teams were set out to search for the misper.
Supported by Police colleagues and the Police helicopter, we were able to cover a very large area of fields, woodland and residential areas in an attempt to find the misper as quickly as possible, knowing that we were in for a very cold night.
19 team members were deployed to this job, providing a fantastic 128 person hours of support.
We are very pleased to hear that the misper has since returned home safe and well.
