On Sunday 8th August, the team provided First Aid cover at the Rushden Historical Transport Society car show at Hall Park, Rushden.
10 members and 2 emergency vehicles were in attendance throughout the day, providing a total of 104 hours of voluntary service to the community and ensuring any medical needs were swiftly met.
Thankfully, there was limited need to put our first aid skills to the test so, whilst dodging the showers, the team were able to spend time engaging with the community, getting acquainted with some of our canine friends and sampling the many delights the food stalls had to offer.
A big thank you to Rushden Town Council for asking us along, and the use of there onsite rapid response vehicle!
